AMINATA J AITEH
About me
My name is Aminata Jaiteh, and I am a recent Environmental Design graduate with honours from
OCAD University in Toronto. Originally from The Gambia, I was born in London, England, and
spent seven years living in Belgium before moving to Canada in 2021 for my studies.
My multicultural background and exposure to diverse environments have shaped my design
perspective, inspiring me to blend elements of architecture, interior, and landscape design with a
deep appreciation for culture and artistry. I draw inspiration from travel, photography, and the
built environment — capturing architectural forms and landscapes that influence my creative
work.
In addition to my design interests, I have a strong appreciation for theatre and the arts, having
participated in and attended international theatre programs and performances in London,
Belgium, and New York.
I’m passionate about creating meaningful, people-centered spaces that reflect both functionality
and cultural identity.
